Incoming transfer students into the Nursing program are strongly encouraged to sign up for New Transfer Student Orientation, where you will receive invaluable information about SF State and have the opportunity to attend workshops on housing, financial aid, and learning remotely.
If you need general education courses, registration for Non-Nursing classes happens on your New Transfer Student orientation date. For more information about Orientation, go to New Transfer Student Next Steps
The School of Nursing will hold a nursing program orientation for new transfer students the first week of August to discuss your classes and program requirements. An invitation with the specific date and time will be sent to them in June.

If you're unable to get a seat in a Sociology core course, you should focus on signing up for electives and complementary studies. There are Sociology electives with seats. If the elective courses end up becoming fully enrolled, you can work on your complementary studies.
