Spring 2024 Freshmen Advising Events (On-Campus Residents)

Planning for Fall 2024 Class Registration! 

The Undergraduate Advising Center (UAC) will be hosting advising opportunities for ON CAMPUS residents to assist 1st-Year Freshman students with planning for Fall 2024 Class Registration on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, April 9th @ The Towers Conference Center (basement-level of the Towers)
  • Monday, April 15th @ Seven Hills Conference Center (next to City Eats)
  • Thursday, April 25th @ The Towers Conference Center (basement-level of the Towers)
  • All workshops are from 3pm-4pm, followed by optional 1-on-1 advising assistance from 4pm-5pm

Summer 2024 Registration Workshop

To help prepare students in planning for summer, we are offering limited Summer Registration workshops. We'll be covering the pros and cons of summer school at SFSU vs Community colleges, some brief info about summer financial aid (SFSU only), how to check course articulation and transferability, and how to decide which classes to prioritize. We'll also be including some resources for enrolling at a community college if you haven't before. 

Haven't considered summer sessions before? It's a great opportunity to get ahead with your university/GE requirements, catch up on units, or give your GPA a little boost. Join us even if you are not sure for one of the following dates:

  • Wednesday, April 3rd—2pm-1pm

  • Thursday, April 4th— 10am-11am

  • Tuesday, April 9th—12noon-1pm

  • Thursday, April 11th—2pm-3pm

This is a chance to hear from current Nursing students of all levels (BSN, ADN-BSN, BSN-A, ELM, FNP) about their experience and pathway into Nursing, tips and advice for applying, developing expectations for the program

After Thanksgiving break, the Undergraduate Advising Center will host a few open computer labs in the J. Paul Leonard Library—several of our academic counselors will be available to assist you in planning your Spring 2023 schedule.
