Directions Follow the 9 steps below to calculate your projected SF State or Combined Cum GPA: (Please do a separate calculation for the SF State and Combined Cum GPA using your SF State unofficial transcript.) 1. In the Projected Semester/Term Grades section, enter the unit value for each course you are currently taking on a letter graded basis. Most commonly, courses are 3 units so you'll most often be entering a 3. 2. Select the Expected Grade for each class entered. 3. If the course is being repeated, click the Course Repeat checkbox and select the previous grade received. Check the box first. After checking the box, you will be allowed to enter the previous grade. 4. Log in to your Student Center (use any browser but Google Chrome and disable your pop-up blocker, click here to find out how to disable pop-ups). Follow these steps on how to disable your pop-up blocker regardless of your browser: Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari. 5. Using the “other academic” drop-down menu, select "Transcript: View Unofficial" and click the >> (double arrow) button. 6. Under Report Type, select pull down menu option “SF State Unofficial Transcript” and click View Report. 7. At the bottom of last page of your transcript, using the Undergraduate Career Totals line, select either your SF State Cum GPA or Combined Cum GPA to calculate. 8. In the "Your Current GPA" box, enter your selected GPA and corresponding GPA Units into the Current GPA and Total GPA Units boxes. 9. Click Calculate to see the Projected Term GPA and Projected SF State or Combined Cum GPA displayed based on your expected grades.
