*The GPA Calculator page is intended as a tool to help students estimate a future GPA or units needed to achieve a future GPA and is not intended to determine whether a student will graduate or meet a particular degree requirement. Any rounding variances that may occur on this page do not exempt students from any degree requirements.
To calculate your projected SF State or Combined Cum GPA:
(Using your SF State unofficial transcript found under the "other academic" drop-down of your student center, you will want to do a separate calculation for the SF State and Combined Cum GPA)
- Using the Career Totals line at the bottom of your transcript, enter your SF State GPA or Combined Cum GPA and corresponding GPA Units in the boxes below.
- Enter the Unit values for each course you are currently taking on a letter graded basis. Please exclude Math 60 or Math 70, if you are currently enrolled in either course.
- If the course is being repeated, click the checkbox and select the previous grade received.
- Select your expected grades for each course and press Calculate.
